Almost Tragic

There was a mine fire yesterday in Canada killing 72 workers. Oh wait! Never mind they had a union. Everyone survived.

It took me a ridiculous amount of time to find somewhere that made reference to a union. This sadly doesn't surprising me that the corporate owned media doesn't want to mention this, but highly relevant in my mind since safety is one of the most important reasons for a union. Well except for sports unions, who uniquely fight against safety equipment (hockey visors), but I don't consider those real unions.
