If only I had the time,

I worked 50 some hours this week mix in beer, sitcom finale's (yes I am that lame) and mowing my lawn. Here is some random thoughts over the week I didn't write about.

This is a good post over at DailyKos. It sounds like Kos is wrapping up his book tour so he should start posting more. Which I am looking forward to. I like his post's more than the "irregulars".

Rep. William Jefferson a Democrat form Louisiana sounds like he is having legal problems. The republicans are trying to use this to fight the "culture of corruption" label that Pelosi has successfully placed on them. The difference was when Delay was in trouble they changed rules, called the attack partisan, claimed business as usual and on and on. Howard Dean was on "This Week" a few weeks ago and
Dean He also said Rep. William Jefferson, D-La., who is accused of improperly using his influence to direct business toward a favored company, should resign immediately that if indicted.

I wish I could find the transcript because George Stephanopoulos asked the question and Dean just said yes. George was taken back by the straight forwadness with the answer that rarely happens on Sunday talk shows. You can watch the clip of the whole interview on this page, but I think it comes in the middle of the interview.

I have to laugh at the church making such a big deal about "The Da Vinci Code" it was reported on the news all week and got tons of free press. If only I could be lucky enough to have a book get banned by the church. Supposedly the movie is horrible to the point were people are laughing at parts that aren't suppose to be funny, but I will wait to see some reviews from people I trust before I decide if I want to throw down some of my sweat soaked dollars to see it in the theater.
